Craigellachie Cars is a locally based, family run business located in Craigellachie, the Heart of Speyside. We operate a friendly, reliable, effective and professional service with fully liscenced drivers allowing you to explore this unique region with complete peace of mind.
We offer a wide array of services such as Full Day Hire, connection to and from any nearby transport links Airports and Train Stations, Business travel, and point to point transfers. We have a variety of clean and full serviced vehicles operated by our fully liscenced drivers at very competitive prices. More information is included below on each available service. Tours
These are pre-set experiences, with the tours all booked and handled through us. We have various different tours available, including entirely custom, bespoke tours. Please see the distillery tour page for more information.
We will provide a vehicle and driver for the day. The price quoted will be for the selected experience and choices, and includes a tasting of 3 additional Speyside whiskies at scenic spots, we try to bring you something a little unusual that you may not have tasted before!
Car and minibus are available.
These do require a deposit, based on the experience selected. If you do need to cancel, please do so at the earliest opportunity. You will only be refunded for bookings made on your behalf if we cancel within the specified timeframe.
Pickup/Drop off Service
You book your tours leaving ample time for transport between each distillery, also allow 10-15 minutes for tours running over. You don’t want to miss the best part at the end, the tasting!!
This service is based on mileage, the rates are set by the local authority at £3.30 per mile for a car and £4.95 for a bus. However, we do give a discount depending on the number of transfers and distance booked.
There may be very little flexibility with this service as it is very busy at peak season, but if you let us know that you are running late, we will hopefully be able to help you. However, when you send me your Itinerary, I will flag any issues with you, as I am very familiar with the distilleries!!
I will give you a fixed price and book it all in for you, then you will have a stress free holiday!
No deposit required, but if you do need to cancel, please do so at the earliest opportunity.
Full Day Hire
We will provide a vehicle and driver for the day. The price quoted will be to get you from your accommodation to your first distillery to when the distilleries close at end of the day. If you are staying locally and eating locally, we may provide transport back from dinner later, this will be subject to availability, so please let us know in advance.
You can book your own tours and advise us of the itinerary or advise us which tours you would like and we can book them for you (subject to availability)
This option gives you greater flexibility to roam and to pop into distilleries along the way.
It includes a tasting of 3 additional Speyside whiskies at scenic spots, we try to bring you something a little unusual that you may not have tasted before!

Transport Links
Pickup and Drop off to and from the transport links in the local area. We will meet you when you arrive to take you and your luggage to accomadation of your choice, in order to ensure a speedy start to your Speyside journey.
This would include Edinburgh Airport, Glasgow Airport, Aberdeen Airport, Aberdeen Train Station, Inverness Airport, Inverness Train Station, Aviemore Train Station, Keith Train Station, Elgin Train Station.
We can offer you a fixed rate price, and work to accomadate your needs.
Business Travel
Swift, smooth, efficent dedicated transport at a fixed, competitive rate in order to ensure all your needs are met on any business trip.
We offer a meet and greet service, and provide a comprehensive, professional service with fully cleaned and serviced vehicles run by licensed drivers.
Group Travel
We can cater to larger groups using our 8 seater minibus. If you would like to book, please make us aware of group size when emailing or calling for your booking. For larger groups a Car and Minibus may be used. No Deposit is required for Pick Ups & Drop Offs with larger groups, however standard rules for Full Day Hire and Tours still apply.
